Meet The Authors
- Tim Steffen
- Tim has been an apple picker, waiter, bartender, filmmaker, café
owner, dog walker, piano player, and newspaper reporter. He currently
concentrates his time on teaching second grade at a private school in
New York City, writing and illustrating children's books, and visiting
Cherry Grove as much as possible. Tim was a "dog kind of guy" until
he met Lily, and then he too fell in love with "The Baby Cat". His

- Susan Ann Thornton
- Susan Ann Thornton is a painter, photographer, and digital artist. She has
shown in one-woman and group shows in New York City, Cherry Grove, NY, St.
Croix, and Hawaii. She has also been an Art Teacher. This is Susan’s debut as an
author and illustrator. Susan lives between homes in Cherry Grove and Santa Fe, New Mexico with Nancy, Spike,
